I finally outgrew, at age seven, the pretending that a watermelon Jolly Rancher was actually a retainer stuck to the roof of my mouth.

I also outgrew my affinity for the soap opera "Passions".

I don't think I'll ever outgrow the feeling of awe I get when we drive into Colorado mountains.

I don't think I want to.

For me, it starts when driving through NE Colorado, from Nebraska, toward Denver, when you suddenly realize that the line of "clouds" on the horizon is really the first sighting of the Rockies! And then, that winding I-70 going west out of Denver...there are no words! Rach, I am so praying that God, revealing His Majesty in the wondrous creation surrounding you right now, will help you put all of the negative thoughts aside, as you are able to focus on His strength and awesome power in all things! Enjoy your time in that beautiful state!

I love driving to Montana and watching the familiar mountian ranges appear. I so enjoy picking out the peaks I know, seeing the peak I have climbed, and planning for the peaks I want to climb.

"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills will burst forth in song before you,..."

Hope you are feeling a bit better with the OCD. Sorry I've fallen off the face of the earth, just really busy. Hopefully we can talk soon and catch up.

I feel the same way, and I was born here. I miss the mountains when we're gone.

Hey. Call or write.
